Serve Your Campus: Help Care for the PSU Seed Library & Learn about PSU garden initiatives!

Friday, February 7th, 2020 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm (PT)

About

Join PSU's Garden Task Force from the Student Sustainability Center and the Student Community Engagement Center to volunteer your time helping us get our seed library organized while learning about gardening, what's happening in the PSU gardens, and even potting your own seeds to take home with you!
Help us prepare the seed library for spring by sorting seed packet donations, updating inventory, making crafty dividers for the card catalog and more while engaging with the PSU garden task force who can teach you about gardening, answer any questions you have and update you on our brand new garden space coming in 2020 and how you can get involved!
No experience needed.  We'll bring snacks and tunes!

About the Seed Library: Since the library's launch during Earth Week 2016, almost more than 300 people have checked out seeds to plant, grow, and share. Seeds are also given out at Harvest Share  and planted in campus gardens.
This project is open to Portland State University students.
