Volunteer Position Title: Ranger Station Attendant

Job Type: Visitor Services

Time Commitment:
Year-round; 4-hour minimum shift, 8-hour maximum shift.

Regular Job Duties:
Ranger Station Attendants are often the first face visitors see when they enter the park. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, collecting entrance fees, checking campers into their campsites, making camping reservations, answering phone calls, and providing guests with information about the park in a courteous and professional manner.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:
Must have a valid driver’s license, be able to pass a sexual offender background check, and be at least 18 years old.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Preferred:
Previous experience working with computers, customer service, Point of Sale Systems, and handling cash transactions is preferred.

Additional Information:
This is NOT a resident volunteer position. Training and uniform are provided. Scheduling is flexible, but volunteers must commit to at least 4 hours per shift.
