Tuesday, June 1st from 11:00am to Saturday, July 31st, 2021 3:00pm (ET)

About

Through service-oriented cycling experiences, Bike & Build raises awareness and advocates for affordable housing and empowers young adults for a lifetime of service and civic engagement. We envision future generations who are committed to a lifetime of civic engagement and who inspire individuals and communities to create fair, decent housing for all.

In 2021, Bike & Builders will be exploring affordable housing in 5 cities across the U.S in our Hub programs. In our 8-week program, participants will team up with 25 fellow passionate young adults to learn about the cause through our Affordable Housing Curriculum and from local advocacy leaders. Participants can expect to:

  • Participate in (4) one-day rides to visit and learn from affordable housing organizations
  • Engage (socially distant) with advocacy leaders and learn about local and regional advocacy work
  • Explore the complex issue of affordable housing through virtually facilitated discussions and relevant readings
  • Join a team of regional young adults passionate about service and civic engagement
