Get Involved with your watershed!

Join Environmental Services at Virtual Fix-it Fair!

Are you passionate about the environment? Looking for ways to be involved in your neighborhood while staying safe during the COVID-19 pandemic?

Join Environmental Services as we discuss ways to work together to promote green infrastructure, like green streets, rain gardens, and nature patches, to keep our rivers clean and neighborhoods healthy. During this information session, we will share resources, volunteer opportunities, and information about our individual and community grant programs. Bring your ideas, thoughts, and questions to our virtual office.

Date: Wednesday, March 4th

Time: 4:30 pm -5:15 pm.

Registration for the event here.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. You can also join the event live on Facebook.

Share your ideas for a Neighborhood to the River-funded community project

Do you have an idea for a community project to improve stormwater management and watershed health while meeting a community need in your neighborhood?  If your site is in one of our project areas, we want to hear about it!  See the map below.

Ideas for projects include:  Installing a rain garden or planting native plants at a place of worship, business, nonprofit, or school; removing pavement and replacing it with trees or native plants; or engaging your community group in a watershed education opportunity.
