Do you like to grocery shop? Are you passionate about helping seniors and people with disabilities maintain their independence? Join us to grocery shop for those who are homebound. Think of it as a fun in-store scavenger hunt for a great cause!
The Student Community Engagement Center is excited to support the work of Store to Door through grocery shopping at one of Store to Door's NE Portland Hollywood Fred Meyer shopping shifts.
Volunteer grocery shoppers receive a client’s grocery list and walk around the store finding each item during this morning volunteer shift. At times, you may need to call a client to ask clarifying questions about out-of-stock grocery items or substitutions. As a volunteer shoppers, you are not responsible for purchasing or delivering groceries, just shopping the aisles for our clients and having fun!
