LCCE's annual Cesar Chavez Day of Service is coordinated on behalf of the entire UT Austin community to unify volunteers in a spirit of service to campus and its neighboring communities.

Cesar Chavez Day is a US federal commemorative holiday, begun by the federal government in 2014, but celebrated in Texas since 2000. The holiday celebrates the birth and legacy of the civic rights and labor movement activist Cesar Chavez on March 31st of each year.
