For Students:

The Student Community Engagement Center (SCEC) is your go-to resource for co-curricular student civic engagement at Portland State University -- in other words, serving in the community outside of your classes! From one-time service projects (working in gardens and parks, sorting donations, sprucing up community spaces, and more) to longer-term opportunities (mentoring elementary school kids, serving weekly at a local community partner, or becoming a Student Leader for Service), get involved in the way that meets your schedule and interests!
