4K for Cancer

About

Spend your summer making a difference by biking or running across America with the 4K for Cancer.

The 4K For Cancer is a program of Ulman Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to change lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer.
The 4K has 6 teams of 30, comprised of 18-25 year olds, who spend their summer running or cycling across the country, to inspire hope and unite communities along the way who have been impacted by cancer. 4K participants fundraise a minimum of $4,500 for Ulman before embarking on this journey of a lifetime.
During the trip, individuals gain personal and professional skills including but not limited to writing, conflict management, leading amongst peers, advertising, young adult cancer education, public speaking, etc. Participants also have the opportunity to complete an internship through our various leadership positions as well as earn college credit through other options.
