Hoyt Arboretum is Portland's living museum of trees, located on 189-ridge top acres in Washington Park. The Arboretum is home to more than 2,000 plant species from 6 different continents. The Arboretum's 12 miles of trails are open daily and are free to the public. Volunteer support is vital to our mission to care for Hoyt Arboretum and to teach people about Portland's global tree collection. Opportunities are available for individuals, families, groups, and organizations.
