Description
Description: We're focusing on beautifying the outside of our facility! Our landscaping, outdoor kennel spaces, and surrounding areas have largely been neglected since the onset of COVID two years ago, and we'd love to spend a few hours getting this back in tip-top shape. The project would include deep cleaning our outdoor kennel spaces, pruning bushes, raking leaves, adding more pea gravel to the outdoor kennels, picking up trash, and really making our outdoor spaces beautiful again.
Requirements: We will provide all gardening tools that will be used. This will be a pretty physical project, with lots of repetitive movements (raking, sweeping), some heavy lifting of pea gravel and such. It will all take place outdoors, so the weather will also be a consideration. We will provide water as well, but it is always a good idea to bring a water bottle along. I would recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, and close-toed shoes are a must. You're welcome to bring your favorite gardening gloves, but we will have them here as well.
Parking: We have a fairly small parking lot, that is first-come, first-serve. However, there is ample street parking right outside of the facility.
