I helped out at Beautiful Lives Boutique which was awesome. I got to tag clothes and steam them and at the end I got to pick some out.
We helped load in new items into totes and bags into the truck. We labeled and stacked tiles and flooring in the store. We also organized the clothes on the racks by tag color.
It was super cold and rainy and I wish I wore warmer clothes, but it was fun once we got to hand the water out to the kids and parents and cheer them on.
We set up the water station for the cow patty run. We handed out cups of water and cheered on the runners. We then cleaned up the cups that they put on the ground.
I went to the mall and rang a bell to get money for the Salvation Army. I talked to people and greeted them inside.
We made tons of veterans day cards and took them to the veterans hospital. We walked through the hospital and passed out the cards and greeted the veterans. It was fun and a great experience.
We started by putting all the shelves on dollies and moving then to the back of the room. We then set up chairs in rows for the festival. Then we assembled the stage and banners.
We went to Wilson trail in Winslow Arkansas to remove kudzu plants to better the environment.
