About

Join PSU's Student Community Engagement Center to volunteer your time [brief description what the volunteer project will be].

[Something about the organization / mission / why. e.g. Our House has been serving the greater Portland area since 1988. The Our House team of expert clinicians works with people with HIV who are having difficulty managing independent living. They tailor services for each individual that defines what “living well” means to them.]

[What specific projects the group will help with: e.g. For this project, we'll serve at Our House's food and clothing center, which provides food, personal care items, and clothing to low-income people living with HIV. We will help organize food in Esther's Pantry, fold and organize clothes in Tod's Corner, and help with miscellaneous cleaning projects on site.]

[What to bring: e.g. Please dress in clothes you don't mind getting dirty and wear closed toed shoes.]

[Other details to know: e.g. We will all meet together at PSU at the listed start time and travel together to the service site (about a 15 minute trip via Zipcar). We will be at Our House from 11:00 - 2:00 and arrive back at PSU by the listed end time. If you would prefer to meet us at Our House directly, please indicate this in your registration]

This project is open to all Portland State University students through the Student Community Engagement Center's #serveyourcityserveyourcampus program.
